Does Society Accept A Gay Relationship Over An Interracial One?

I had an interesting discussion in Sicily last year (August 2013). It pretty much was an open discussion between a female Norwegian television exec and I. And a table full of 5 or 6 Sicilian men, who just listened while they sat at the table next to us. The conversation was just about gay and lesbian relationships. She was for it 100%. And asked what I thought about it. I told her that I didn’t have anything against the lesbian or gay community.

And I informed her that I loved women. Even though I don’t have anything against the lesbian and gay community I still didn’t choose sides. I pretty much said that it is their choice and they have the right to make their own decision.

I’m Catholic so it turned a little biblical, but even then I remained neutral in the discussion. I told her that I don’t judge, that’s not my job. And I said that a new Pope stepped in after lightning struck St Peters Basilica. There are more important things to focus on besides lesbian and gay relationships.

It seems that nowadays in many places people still frown upon interracial relationships. What kind of society accepts a gay relationship over an interracial relationship? If society accepts a gay relationship over an interracial relationship prepare for world war 3.

I mean they have the gay and lesbian community. So why can’t there be an interracial community?

Keep in mind that. In ancient Egypt the New Kingdom was interracial.
